Barcelona Ready for Historic Match at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barcelona have announced they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Basque side in domestic competition 30 months after they moved out so building work could begin.

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators can be present as per the current authorization. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht on 9 December in the renovated venue. Previous fixtures took place at the Olympic Stadium.
