Trump's Family Member Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Before LPGA Debut
This young athlete maintains considerable social media following
The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known backers when she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and often matches against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
Yet she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating her mother.
"He is the best player in the world," Kai expressed.
"And he's a superior human being. He suggested me to play, relax, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in the sport at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.
Kai boasts substantial online presence and has started a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.
She begins at 17:30 GMT.
